This course provides participants with a fundamental understanding of the driving forces and mechanics of the Global Fixed Income Markets. It therefore provides participants with a strong platform from which to deepen their knowledge, should they wish to do so. Over the past 10 years, Mark has gained widespread recognition in his role as a leading Markets trainer. He has undertaken multiple courses within global investment and corporate banks, hedge funds, regional banks, brokers, corporate treasuries, Supra-national entities and global law firms. His extensive range of clients include JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, NatWest, HSBC, Barclays Bank, Deutsche Bank, Drax Power and EBRD.

Mark’s courses span large-scale private graduate/new entrant courses, public courses, advanced courses for experienced participants, and one-to-one specialist Markets training for senior managers and board members.

As a consultant Mark has been engaged on various projects with banks and companies, including on FX risk management and policies, and regulatory compliance. Mark has also acted as an expert in Markets-related civil and criminal legal proceedings.

Prior, Mark spent 10 years as an FX and interest rate derivatives trader at RBS (NatWest) in London, Hong Kong, and New York. Mark holds a 1st-class degree in Aeronautical Engineering from University of Bristol.

  • The drivers of market price movements, the building of yield curves and the various risks arising from fixed income transactions are covered. .
