Martijn Van Pieterson

A senior financial markets professional with over 18 years experience. Martijn progressed from quantitative analyst and derivatives trader to hold several senior trading management positions most latterly Global Head of Derivatives Products, Solutions and Counterparty Exposure at RBS. He has acquired a keen expertise in Financial Conduct and Control as Chair of the Markets Control Remediation Committee and member of the Markets Management and Asset Liability Committees at RBS. More practically he has developed controls to prevent rogue trader risk and delivered transformational change to the control environment. Martijn holds a Masters in Econometrics from Erasmus University, Rotterdam.
