During his time at FMCR, Mark has led a review of the FX risk management capabilities for a large UK Corporate Treasury, including board-level training workshops; provided expert analysis on historic dividend arbitrage equity trading activities at a global financial institution; appeared in court as an expert witness in an equity trading trial; run workshops on LIBOR transition for international banks.
Mark has been a trainer and consultant in financial markets subjects for 12 years, working with some of the world's top investment banks and hedge funds, as well as smaller regional banks, brokers and corporate treasuries. Prior to this, Mark spent 10 years, including as a senior FX and interest rate derivatives trader in London, Hong Kong and New York, working for Deutsche Bank and RBS. Mark has also owned and run a retail business, enabling him to gain a firm understanding of company financing.
Mark graduated from the University of Bristol with a first-class degree in Aeronautical Engineering.
