Jason Richardson is a former Global Markets COO and trading leader with over two decades’ experience across trading, sales, and enterprise transformation. He has led multi-asset businesses in more than 30 countries, delivering significant cost, capital, and control improvements through front-to-back operating model redesign and leadership of large-scale restructuring programmes.
As a Senior Consultant with FMCR, Jason supports leaders of Global Markets and Banking businesses in addressing their most complex strategic and operational challenges. He brings independent, senior bench capacity which enables executive teams to stay focused on clients and market activity, while providing unbiased analysis of the issues and opportunities that most impact performance. His work centres on redesigning operating models and frameworks to strengthen resilience, align capital and control disciplines, and position franchises for growth within their financial and risk envelope. Jason’s engagements range from interim COO mandates to targeted projects enhancing risk and control frameworks, driving strategic implementation, or delivering measurable improvements in financial performance and efficiency.

Jason holds a degree in Mathematics from University of Cambridge.
